Kelli E. Madigan is a shareholder with Mathis, Marifian & Richter (MM&R), who focuses her practice in business law, estate planning, taxation, real estate and banking.

Since 1996, Kelli has skillfully represented corporations throughout Southern Illinois in matters involving sales and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, buy-sell arrangements, tax planning, real estate transactions and like-kind exchanges. She has negotiated and drafted numerous contracts for various for-profit and not-for-profit corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies. She also represents individuals in the preparation of wills, trusts and estate and gift tax planning.

Kelli’s dedication to her career and her determination to address every client’s needs have enhanced her practice and the service she provides to her clients. Her experience has made her a well-respected informational lecturer, and Kelli has given numerous lectures on topics pertaining to taxation and estate planning.

Professional Affiliations

Kelli is a member of the American Bar Association, The Missouri Bar and the St. Clair County Bar Association. She is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, where she previously served on the Federal Taxation Section Council as both chair and vice-chair, and the Women Lawyers’ Association of Greater St. Louis, where she previously served as cochair of the Legislative Committee.

Community Involvement

Since 2006, Kelli has served on the Board of Directors for Family Hospice of Belleville. Kelli is also a graduate and supporter of Leadership Belleville, an executive leadership program sponsored by the Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce.

Kelli received a BA in English from Saint Louis University in 1993. She received her JD from Saint Louis University in 1996 and her LL.M. from Washington University in St. Louis in 2001.
