Philip D. Speicher
Philip D. Speicher is an associate with Mathis, Marifian & Richter (MM&R), who focuses his practice in business law, taxation, estate planning and real estate law.
Philip provides legal counsel to a wide variety of clients in matters pertaining to business transactions and tax planning, Internal Revenue Service (IRS) controversies, corporate mergers and acquisitions, wills and trusts, and estate and gift tax planning. Philip also provides representation to individuals, corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies in IRS audits and in litigation before the United States Tax Court. Philip also provides tax exemption planning services for charitable organizations and other not-for-profit entities.

Philip is a member of the American Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, The Missouri Bar, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and the St. Clair County Bar Association.
Community Involvement
Philip places a high value on community involvement, and he demonstrates this through his service to various charitable organizations in Southern Illinois and St. Louis. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Ferguson Church of the Nazarene, as well as on a board subcommittee for North County Christian School. Philip also previously served on the Advisory Council for the Karla Smith Foundation.
Education
Philip graduated summa cum laude from MidAmerica Nazarene University in 2001 with a BA in History. He received his JD from Washington University in St. Louis in 2004, and in 2008, Philip earned his LL.M. in Taxation from Washington University in St. Louis.
